As a mom, and a HighPoint leader, I am THRILLED to tell you about this month's Take It Home Tool - Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace Jr. I'm excited because...

So many families at Northridge have seen their finances (and lives) transformed as a result of applying the principles they've learned in Financial Peace. Financial Peace Jr. is a tool that will help you (and me) to teach these same principles to our kids in a way that makes sense to them!
How we handle money matters to God. That means that, as a parent, I need to be intentional about how I teach my kids about managing money. Financial Peace Jr. is a tool that will help me carry out that responsibility.
STEWARDSHIP is the virtue that we'll be focusing on in HighPoint & High5 this month. Financial Peace Jr. gives parents a vehicle to talk at home about what the Bible says about STEWARDSHIP, and how this biblical virtue applies to our lives (even as kids).

About HighPoint

HighPoint is a ministry of Northridge Church for kids ages 4 years through 5th grade.

Our mission is to guide children to put their faith in Jesus and teach them who God is and how He wants them to live.

But we can't do this alone! God chose parents (not the church) to be the primary spiritual influence in your own children's lives (Deut 6:4-9).

Our prayer, and the goal that we are working toward is two-fold:

1. To teach kids basic truths about God and His saving message of eternal life through Christ.

2. To equip parents to impress Biblical truths to their children at home in ways that are engaging and life changing.

After all, two combined influences (the light of the church and the heart of the family) will make a greater IMPACT than one alone. Won't you join us?
